Boost Labcare are pleased to announce the extension of our existing calibration service to the process and control industry. We have been supporting the laboratory industry with our UKAS calibration and maintenance services for over 20 years. However, increasing customer requests to calibrate some of their process and control systems and equipment has driven our decision to diversify. To support this, investment in new equipment and training of staff, coupled with existing skills and equipment provide us with the capability to offer the following calibration services:
· Calibration of temperature controllers
· Calibration of PT100s and a full range of thermocouples
· Temperature mapping of ovens
· Temperature mapping of cold and storage rooms
· Humidity mapping of cold and storage rooms
· Calibration of complete systems (Controllers and sensors combined)
Equipment requiring calibration can either be sent into our calibration laboratory or we can visit customer premises to conduct any on-site calibration work. With many years experience in calibrating a broad range of equipment and a good understanding of the strict requirements requested by accreditation bodies, we have a proven track record in offering an excellent, accurate calibration service.
Boost Labcare can also supply a broad range of sensors, probes and thermocouples, transmitters and temperature controllers.
Bespoke probes and sensors
Boost Labcare can offer a range of bespoke temperature probes and sensors. If you require a single probe package with a mix of sensors enclosed (eg PT100 sensor and a type ‘K’ thermocouple), contact the technical team with your specifications - the cable length required, type and any cable protection, for a no obligation quotation to manufacturer this probe for you.
Boost Labcare can also supply a whole range of probes, controllers and transmitters calibrated to your requirements, either individually or as complete systems.
In today’s climate of strict traceability, calibration and validation of process and control equipment is a vital component in a manufacturing process. We will conduct the calibration of your equipment and help and advise you through the, sometimes daunting, process of calibration and validation. With over 20 years experience working in the medical and laboratory field, you can be assured of a thorough understanding of the latest relevant calibration and validation requirements demanded by current accreditation bodies.
By offering an extensive service Boost Labcare are able to calibrate a broad range of equipment in one visit. This ensures competitive pricing by utilising resources as effectively and efficiently as possible.
Technical – Validation of Storage Areas
Validation of processes, equipment and environmental chambers is essential to any successful manufacturing or R&D operation. Storage and warehouse temperatures have a direct impact upon the quality and integrity of the stored products. In order to assess the performance of a chamber or storage environment, information about that system must be reliably gathered over a pre-determined period of time using an approved method and a set of instructions (protocol). The resulting data can then be analysed and detailed in a final report to determine suitability to the application.
The temperature mapping (testing of the various locations within the room, chamber or item of equipment) can help identify and address problems within your operation. It can also ensure that the proper documentation is available to customers and regulatory departments that temperature sensitive products are correctly stored and controlled.
Boost Labcare is not only available to map your storage areas, warehouses and equipment but also will happily help in drawing up suitable validation protocols. Boost Labcare is a UKAS accredited body and their methods and equipment are approved by UKAS.
